And last by not least, wish me luck, as the Warrior Dash is this Sunday. I’ll need it. EEK! Photos will follow the race, unless I have to be carried out .

o.m.g.

I can win a mini session with Itsy Bitsy Creation?

But.. but… HOW?

Well as some of you know, I’ll be running/walking/crawling in the Warrior Dash in Windham, NY on August 12. I decided to be a St. Jude Warrior and raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. So what does winning a mini session have to do with the Warrior Dash?

If you donate using this link: YOU ROCK,  your name will be entered into a drawing for a mini session ($200 value) with Itsy Bitsy Creation.

Remember, every little bit counts. If you can only donate $5, that’s cool. You’ll still be entered into the drawing!

After you donate to this great cause, please comment on this post with your email address. I will choose a winner on August 9th. If you do not comment on this post, you will not be included in the drawing.

And don’t be sad if you don’t win, anyone who donates will receive an 8×10 ($30 value) from a past session or a credit towards an 8×10 for a future session!

What does the mini session include?

1 hour session (newborn session excluded)

5 digital images

1 8×10

You’re awesome. Do it.

Here’s my submission for the I HEART FACES challenge this week, “Enjoying Life”.

{en·joy} \en-joi\, v. To receive pleasure or satisfaction from.

While this little ray of sunshine is only 6 months old, she truly enjoys life. She’s probably one of the happiest, if not the happiest  baby I’ve ever had the chance to photograph. She brings pleasure to anyone she meets just by smiling.

Now that I think about it, maybe it’s her momma that’s truly enjoying life…

Here’s my submission for the I HEART FACES challenge this week, “Hey Girl”.

{Self-con·fi·dence} \self-kon-fi-duhns\, n. assurance: freedom from doubt; belief in yourself and your abilities.

This lady has it. ❤

Here’s my submission for the I HEART FACES challenge this week, “Happiness”.

{Hap·pi·ness} \ˈha-pē-nəs\, n. state of well-being characterized by emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy.

Happiness is my Luca. All he has to do is smile. Here he is having a little fun with his dad.  ❤

Barbie’s pregnant! Doesn’t she look amazing? Gotta love a girl who can wear 6 inch heels while she’s pregnant. What’s next to come for this momma to be?

Note: I made Barbie pregnant by stuffing her dress with cotton. Apparently there was a pregnant Barbie or maybe it was her friend Midge back in the 80s. But it was taken off the market. Scandalous!

Here’s my submission for the I HEART FACES challenge this week, “Black & White”.

Black & white photography is definitely not my strong point, so needless to say I was a little nervous submitting a photo into this week’s challenge. But I couldn’t resist posting a photo of the beautiful Anja who has the eyes of an old soul.  ❤

So when I decided to take photography to a more serious level, I never thought that I would ever be at the caliber where I would be able to compete with amazing photographers I adore. Well I haven’t… Yet. I still have a VERY long way to go but I must say that I’m proud of myself for some of my small achievements. Below are the photos that have been recognized.

Featured on Kelsey Anderson’s blog, evoking you. The theme was {LIFE}. And who better to submit than my Luca love.

Featured on the {Heart Theme} I Heart Faces‘s blog. And it was a winner!

And here is yet another photo of my son Luca. He was indifferent to the fact that I was trying to take Valentine’s Day photos. He’s lucky he’s cute. ❤
