Here’s my submission for the I HEART FACES challenge this week, “Hugs & Kisses”.

Two incredibly sweet brothers. Can’t you see the love? I surely can! ❤

So when I decided to take photography to a more serious level, I never thought that I would ever be at the caliber where I would be able to compete with amazing photographers I adore. Well I haven’t… Yet. I still have a VERY long way to go but I must say that I’m proud of myself for some of my small achievements. Below are the photos that have been recognized.

Featured on Kelsey Anderson’s blog, evoking you. The theme was {LIFE}. And who better to submit than my Luca love.

Featured on the {Heart Theme} I Heart Faces‘s blog. And it was a winner!

And here is yet another photo of my son Luca. He was indifferent to the fact that I was trying to take Valentine’s Day photos. He’s lucky he’s cute. ❤

Sweet Tessa was holding out for a snow filled day for her senior portrait but unfortunately Central New York weather just wasn’t cooperating. Snow in December, were we crazy? So instead we had to deal with a day of freezing rain in December and a spring like day… in January. It’s true what they say in CNY, if you don’t like the weather just wait 5 minutes. Congrats to Tessa, Class of 2012!

Here’s my submission for the I HEART FACES challenge this week, “Oh So Silly”.

This snapshot pretty much sums up our crazy days that my son and I spend together, just the two of us. Luca has an incredible knack for expressions. How can you be mad when a face like this is staring you down? He never fails to make me laugh! He is my LOCA LUCA!

Here’s my submission for the I HEART FACES challenge this week, “By The Book”.

I absolutely love the expression on her face. Could it be because of the cold? Or could it be because of what she’s reading? I suspect this mommy-to-be is expecting a bit of happiness in her future.<3
